OFFICIAL STATEMENT – LUKASZ ROGOWSKI & CRYSTAL BALLROOM
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
At this time, my full focus is—and will remain—on our clients.
The closure of Crystal Ballroom Ocean Walk has created disruption, and I fully acknowledge the
frustration and emotion that comes with it. These are once-in-a-lifetime events, and I take that
responsibility personally.
What is not being accurately represented is what is happening behind the scenes.
In the last 24–48 hours alone, my team and I have been working tirelessly—around the clock—
to:
• Communicate directly with every affected client
• Secure alternative venues and dates
• Relocate events successfully across our locations
• Provide customized solutions based on each client’s needs
• And where necessary, work toward appropriate financial resolutions
Many clients have already been successfully relocated and are moving forward with their
events—happily and confidently.
This is not a situation where clients are being abandoned.
This is a situation where a business is actively, aggressively, and personally working through
every single case to deliver outcomes.
REGARDING MEDIA COVERAGE
Unfortunately, recent media coverage has focused on amplifying panic rather than solutions.
Incomplete and one-sided narratives:
• Create unnecessary fear for clients who are already in communication with us
• Disrupt active resolution efforts
• And damage the very process that is working to support these families
Let me be clear:
We are not avoiding our clients.
We are not ignoring our responsibilities.
We are actively resolving every case.
What we need right now is space to do that work effectively.
COMMITMENT MOVING FORWARD
I have built Crystal Ballroom over decades, serving thousands of families and celebrations.
My responsibility does not end when challenges arise—it becomes even greater.
• Every client matters
• Every event matters
• Every outcome matters
We are approaching this with:
• Urgency
• Accountability
• And a commitment to solutions—not headlines
FINAL POSITION
At this time, I will not be participating in interviews or ongoing commentary.
My priority is not media coverage—it is my clients.
I ask respectfully that the media allow us the necessary space to continue resolving this situation
directly with those affected.
We will provide updates once we have completed the majority of client resolutions.
